On a scale from 1 to 10. One being winning in a sweep of every round of the playoffs and 10 being winning in the final game of every round in the playoffs.

Please, stick to the scale. So, I feel you're thinking around an 8 or 9. I'm thinking more like a 1 or a 2.

The Yankees will win a classic seven game world series against the Philadelphia Phillies. It will be considered the greatest world series in the history of baseball. Mark my words!! You heard it here first!!

Your scale is flawed....

They have to win their division first and actually qualify for the playoffs! Yankee fans have such a warped perspective on the skill level of their team. You can have the best players and still lose. It happens about every year.

Did anyone think the Marlins would win in '03, what about the Sox in '04 or Chi in '05? Definately not the Cardinals in '06. Talent will usually get you to the playoffs. But Solid fundamental play, clutch hitting, solid managerial decisions, and teamwork usually win the title.

Remember, you can't cash the check before its signed!

(Your scale assumes the Yankees are automatic, I won't refer to it just because it's the answer you're looking for.)

The Yankees will have to earn their chance at a World Series, just like anyone else. No team is automatic, something you can learn from the Braves.

I'll just say it'll be a nice race. I won't put any money on how it ends, I'll just sit back and enjoy it, as I root for my team, and the other teams who play well.

for some reason I think that A-Rod is some sort of bad luck charm and the Yankees will never win a World Series until they get rid of him.

I'd say a 10, but I'd go for another option with a wider range...such that if they would lose in the playoffs or wouldn't even make it....

I'd say they make it into the playoffs, but they'll probably struggle like they have in the past recent seasons....

I think they win whenever there is a lunar eclipse.
since there was just one last night the chances are good- go with 10.
