if the nurse gave them all at the same time, the i would too. I put the meds in the nipple of the bottle for my son and just let him suck on it. You can also buy a suckie at walmart for medication. basically it's a bottle with a medicine cup instead of a bottle attached to the nipple. If you are going to mix it with milk, i wouldnt mix it with more than 1/2 an ounce because you want to be sure s/he gets all the meds.

I'm not sure if this applies to breast milk. But, I just read in American Baby magazine that if you mix medicines into a drink it should not be a dairy product because the dairy can prevent the absorbtion of the medicine. Like I said though, I'm not really sure if that applies to breast milk. You could always try juice, you just have to make sure that he drinks the entire thing or else he's not getting the full dose of medicine.

I wouldn't do all of then at once. Does he have to have them all at once? Try a little formula, maybe 2 oz, and then one med, then do it for all of them that way he eats 8 oz, but doesn't have all the meds in one bottle.
Good luck.
Try sitting him up and letting him drink a little then stop and wait for it to settle then give him some more so he doesn't throw it up.

Unless your doctor said it was ok for all the meds to be given together, I wouldnt do it. It may even upset the baby's tummy more than it already is.

Honestly, I wouldn't b/c he may not drink the whole thing and you don't know how much medicine he actually got. Just keep giving him the medicine normally but give it to him slowly. Also, call the Dr. and see if any of them come in suppository form. Good luck! I know when they're sick it's the pits!

Ask your doctor if your unsure, I would never take a chance with something like giving medication to a baby! If he's vomiting it may be a sign that the medicine isn't suiting his body!

You need to ask your doctor. If your baby is not keeping the meds down, then the doctor needs to see him again.
