It is the concentration. W stands for weight and V stands for volume. It is the percentage of weight to volume. 10% would be 10 ounces by weight to a final volume of 100 ounces by volume. I hope this helps.

yes, W/V % refers to the concentration of a solute in a solution. for example if u have 20% W/V of a solute it means there is 20g of it per 100 ml of the total solution. as simple as that :D
