I would, C.C will give you more innings, schilling is old and will most likely hit the DL for at least part of the season.

Yes, you should definitely trade Curt Schilling for C.C. Sabathia. You already have a very strong pitching rotation, but it doesn't hurt to give it an extra boost.

If you take a long, hard look at Schilling vs. Sabathia in recent years, you will see that Sabathia has been the better pitcher. Although Schilling has gotten more wins, that is due to the fact that he plays on a team with a high-powered offense. Just last year, Sabathia had only 3 less wins than Schilling, but beat him in ERA and in WHIP, and almost identical K numbers. Also, there is the age issue; Schilling is 40 years old and Sabathia is entering his prime. It is hard to see how Schilling will react with the extra year under his belt and he has been injury prone. To me, Sabathia is more consistent and would be a good player to get.

If I were in your position, I would make this trade.

Absolutely take this offer. Sabathia is on the verge of a breakout season in 2007 and Schilling is regressing. Schilling may end the year with more W's playing with the Red Sox offense, but Sabathia won't be far behind and will put up more K's and a better ERA.

i was put in that position during the draft too of who to take between CC and Curt. i went on ahead to take Curt because he has more run support which means he has a higher chance of winning, more strike outs, and way less walks. Curt is the better player to me. hope this helps.
