steve nash and the suns are terrific but i was wondering what the other players would do without him. like how he makes them better and stuff so are they ridding on his back? what if he goes or they go to another team?

i think in regards to nash he COMPLIMENTS the other players and their strengths. in saying so steve nash helps push the ball and run the team. and it suits them all well cause theyre quick and athletic. i dont think its so much of a free ride in regards to nash's team mates. im sure if there was another PG (not barbosa) running the show the other players would still benifit (just not as much)

in terms of free riding, i think the best way is to be an average player on a great team. sit at the end of the bench, watch ur time succeed and get ur ring.....EVERY team has players of that calibre

That question is moot.

Nash does play for them. The team has developed a chemistry they could only have with Nash.

If Nash wasn't there, they would develop another chemistry. Barbosa is a solid player and distributor. The Suns do have a bunch of extremely talented players. Would they be as good without Nash? Probably not, but they could still develop a trust and understanding of each other that could carry them far.

This question is like asking if the Celtics never had Bird or the Lakers never had Magic. It doesn't matter. You have a group of guys and they learn to play together. That one special player can put you over the top.

without nash, the suns are very average. proof: look at the 4 games when he was out with a shoulder injury. i think they went 1-3 with a loss to atlanta. how can you still go 1-3 with guys like marion, stoudamire, and barbosa? this shows how important nash is to phx and that he is deserving of the MVPs he has earned.

Who knows? Some might turn out to stink, but some might turn out to be good. They must have been good in college to get drafted into the NBA.
