We were recently inseminated (IUI) and have been taking progesterone supplements to help maintain a healthly lining. I am now a few days late for my period, but the pregnancy tests still say no. Can the progestrone be delaying my cycle?

I took a 10 day cycle of progesterone and the pregnancy test didn't show positive until I was 6 1/2 weeks pregnant and I hadn't had a period for 2 months.

Yes, When I did fertility treatments, I could never predict when my period was going to start. Sometimes it would come early and sometimes it would come late. It would break my heart when it came late and the pregnancy tests said no. Unfortunately the drugs will mess with your cycles, but stay strong and hang in there!
