I've been friends with this person for a while and I'm not sure if I should still be friends with them or let this person go. He is constantly making false promises such as saying we'll hang out, but then he just forgets about me. He also has a ton of friends- much more than I do-and would rather hang out with them. It makes me wonder if there's somethig wrong with me. We talk online and he always tells me who hes mad at and who he's having a problem with, or if hes upset. I always try and give him the best advice I can and help him. But when I try to talk to him about something, he just seems to not care at all. I'm a good friend to him, but he ignores me and constantly wants to be with his other friends. I'm a better friend to him than most of the other people he hangs out with, and still, hes pushes me off to the side. Should we still be friends?

The majority of his friends are talkative and outgoing, and I'm more on the quiet side

Friendship is no different than any other relationship. You should be able to expect what you give. Friendship can't grow on one person making all the effort. It sounds like you're more of an aquaintance of his than a friend. Stop initiating the contact and see if it affects him. If not, then you know where you stand. Sounds like you'd be a good friend to anyone who is true. Don't expend all of your efforts on someone who isn't giving anything in return.

I had a friend just like this. I cut her loose. Take your loses and move on. She would tell lie after lie. We worked together so it gt to the point i wanted to confront her in front of everyone about what a liar she was. No one else had the nerve to o it. So i did. Fake people stick with fake people because they are all full of lies. Unfortunately they are every where. You sound like too nice of a person to waste your friendship on some one like that.

properly before everything, genuine friends continually have your decrease back, next, they dont commence rumors or with out caution get mad at you. also they continually be magnificent to you. Now pretend friends: Get mad at you for no reason. commence rumors Arent magnificent. you may also tell in the journey that they seem to be a fantastic or undesirable buddy via how they react to issues. wish this helps! xoxo

Are you " uncool" in his eyes? mabey he thinks that you cant be seen with him and thats he's to popular to be freinds with you he's probably a fake im in the same situation

tell him/her to buy you this and that. IF he doesn't,maybe his not a real friend. If he doesn't hangout with you much,maybe his is not a real friend. This is a qoute"real friends will be there with you through thick and thin."

i would let him know how you feel and see what he says. if he doesnt care then i would keep my distance from him. make new friends.
