Get Glove conditioner, a ball, and rubber bands or a pair of laces.

Oil it up, put the ball in it, then wrap it and tie it off. It will form a nice pocket around the ball.

Then use it, check to make sure the laces are tight after the first few games.

first use oil, to soften up the leather, then put a softball in the pocket, and wrap it closed with either a belt or rope....

i'd undo it probably in 2 days, put your hand in the glove and see how it feels....then repeat it again a couple times, and then just play with it....

I saw a clip of a major leaguer telling one to apply shaving cream instead of oil because it's a beter lubricant, it was his opinion and it seems to have worked, but you also have to use a ball to form a good pocket. Best thing to do is to get the leather soft, then play alot of catch with it.

oil it, stick a ball in the pocket and wrap a couple rubber bands around it to get a good deep pocket. then, use it.
