Don't get me wrong, it seems right to punish people for crime.

But no-one is perfect.

Why do people always backtrack & lie when it comes their time to do the time for their crime?

What I mean is, I have seen police officers who are doing illegal things, but they go out to arrest "criminals" even while they do just as wrong or perhaps even worse.

I have actually seen a few po-po doing worse! What gives? I am not here to condemn people, but how can they be so hypocritical?

Can they really serve punishment to others being they are in the wrong as well?

Why is it always "right" to do the crime, do the time..., unless they are the ones having to serve for their crime?

This does not seem right to me.

In any and every walk of life, there are the good guys, and the bad guys. Some cops are bad, just like some CEOs are bad, (Enron) But the majority of them are good honest people. It just seems like you hear more about the bad ones than the good ones.

Because people on here are always complaining about unfairly getting pulled over for doing 100 on a 25mph zone and then claiming they should be let off. We all are tired of the whiners.

But to answer your question more fully, you will not get sentenced to any jail time for being innocent. No matter what anyone else does. It does not matter how many police you see doing illegal things(a shaky claim at best). The law is still the law and if someone else got away with it does not make it ok for you to break it.

And I would always support than any policeman who gets caught breaking the law face the same punishment as everyone else.
