I can get first pick for Fantasy Baseball but my 2nd pick will be 12th so do i take 1st pick or do i go lower?

do i grab first pick and have my second pick be 12th pick or do i go for 2nd or 3rd?

I'm assuming youre in a 6 man league, so try to trade down. If you get the third pick, you'll get number 3 and ten which is better than 1 and 12. If you go first, theres 11 picks between your two. If you go third, theres only 7, which means you'll be in better position to pick up a higher ranked player if someone passes over him. I've found this to work well after the first few rounds when players really start getting picked out of their ranked order.

Go first pick. Get the very best player you can, then when 12 rolls around you will have a better feel for who to pick next. One option is to offer a trade to another player "I will pick your first pick choice you pick up my guy on your first and third pick and we trade for my first. The only problem with this is your second guy may not be there. Use your pick and make the most of it!
