It is not possible to diagnose you for arthritis with the little information that you have supplied.

The way of your questioning suggests me that you are having nothing more than an ordinary muscle cramp.

It may be due to defieciency of potassium in your food (By the way are you in dieting?)

You can supplement this with raw tomatoes and tender coconut.

For any reason if you are taking any diuretics you may have potassium defieciency and the resultant muscle cramps. In such cases the doctors can prescrible you potassium supplement in syrup form.

Any how take lot of tender coconut and tomatoes. Try to calculate the vitamin and mineral values of the food that you take. Plan and have a balanced food.

If you are on dieting take necessary vitamin and mineral supplements.

You might try taking calcium-magnesium-zinc tablets one three times a day with meals. Lack of magnesium can aggravate tense muscles. Also eat more fruit (3-4 servings a day) for potassium. If this doesn't work you might want to consult a rheumatologist for an evaluation.

you say your hands are cramping? have you considered that it might be carpal tunnel and not arthritis?
I have had carpal tunnel since I was 15yr
I get sharp pains in the lower underside of hands by my wrists... and they ache all the way up into each finger, especially after writing/typing.... the thing that the doctor told me when he diagnosed that it was carpal tunnel is the pins and needles.. the tingle... and the weakness at times..... can't make a fist these days at times...lol...
a link to definition, causes and ways to help carpal tunnel:
