Sometimes female bettas can "leak" eggs like that. Without a male to help her though nothing will ever come of it.

Do you have a male & female? By the time the female lays eggs the male should have already made a bubble nest. The male squeezes the female to get the eggs to fall, then he carefully picks them up & blows them up into the bubble nest. He cares for them the rest of the time. The female should be removed. He will keep the nest repaired & care for the fry when they hatch. He even takes each fry into his mouth to clean it & blows it back into the nest. A VERY interesting thing to watch.

But if you just have a female dropping eggs they will not be viable.

Sorry.

The eggs are not viable if there is no male present. Clean the eggs out of her water, though, as they will pollute the water.

chances are she was never with a male, so the eggs are nothing but an anomaly and they are infertile
