My friends and I are planning a roadtrip. The states we are considering are indiana (the dunes), Ohio (Cedar Point), and Missouri (Lake of the Ozarks). I have been told that certain states and counties have restrictions on the age you must be to rent a hotel, or camp. Any information on this is appreciated, especially in these three states.

Most require you to be 21 with a valid ID and Credit Card for deposit. There are a few that will give you a room at 18 again you will need cc for the deposit.

Call the hotel and ask if there are age restrictions for renting a hotel room. Tell them the number of people that will be in the room.
