I'm confused. The Warren Commission said 3, Oliver Stone said 6, Robert Groden said 9-13, The HSCA said 4.

Which is it?

Don't be confused. There was more than one gunman, and Oswald wasn't one of them. Read the book written by District Attorney Jim Garrison called "On the Trail of the Assassins".

He is the only person to ever bring anyone to trial on the Kennedy assassination. He points out that if only 3 bullets were fired, one bullet would have to account for 7 different wounds in two different people. And the bullet that the Dallas PD turned in that was supposed to have been fired by the Oswald rifle, was in nearly perfect condition as if it had been fired into a tank of water. The Dallas PD brought a German Mauser down from the book warehouse that disappeared. After it was turned in as evidence.

Oswald was in contact with agents of the FBI, and warned them about the assassination before it happened. The Warren Commission contained a man that Kennedy had fired before he was killed.

Three shells were "supposed" to have been found on one of the upper floors of the warehouse. Yet Oswald was said to have taken time to wipe his fingerprints off the rifle before hiding it after the shooting. Kennedy was not even supposed to be driving by that warehouse the day of the parade, the route had been changed by the mayor of Dallas that very morning, so Oswald would not have known to bring the rifle there that day, because the route was changed AFTER he was at "work". The mayor of Dallas was the brother of a US Army General that Kennedy had also fired. He worked with the man Kennedy fired that was on the Warren Commission.

The FBI took the Oswald rifle to their lab in D.C. but didn't find his finger prints on it. They sent it back to the Dallas PD, and a patrolman supposedly found a palm print on the gun that was supposed to have been Oswald's. Also what was supposed to have gotten the Dallas PD so hot after Oswald was that they said he shot a Dallas Police Officer named J.D. Tippet. and left 3 empty shell cases on the ground where he shot him. But Oswald was carrying a .38 revolver. They don't eject shells when you shoot them. Too many witnesses on the street that day were chasing someone on an area known as the grassy knoll. But were stopped by men who identified themselves as US Secret Service men.

Then Oswald is shot in the Dallas Police Dept. garage while being held by officers on both sides of him. The man that did the shooting was let into the garage by Dallas Police. He was a known gangster named Jack Rubinstein, or commonly known as Jack Ruby.

Do your own thinking. Everyone who could have been forced to testify to the investigation by Jim Garrison, were either killed in mysterious ways, poisoned, or murdered by shooting, stabbing and one fellow was even hacked to death with a machete.

When the newly sworn in President Lyndon Johnson got back to D.C. he asked J.Edgar Hoover (Head of the FBI), I only have one question for you." "Was I a target?" Hoover answered, "No sir, you were not." How could Hoover have known that if Oswald was the lone shooter? Every expert rifleman that ever tried to reproduce the shots that Oswald was supposed to have made that day in the time frame he was supposed to have fired them in, couldn't do it. And Oswald's Marine buddies said Oswald was no good with a rifle. The rifle that Oswald was said to have used was a cheap Italian rifle with bad sights on it.

On top of all of this stuff, 8 months after the assassination the FBI released information that nitrate tests performed on Oswald the day of the shooting showed he had not fired a gun that day. So how did he shoot the President and a Dallas Police Officer?
Do your own thinking. The US Govt. has twice started to investigate what was viewed as a conspiracy involving more than one shooter. Both times someone has stopped them.

Do your own thinking. Most people believe that John Wilkes Booth killed President Lincoln by himself. But in truth the US Govt. hung several other people for involvement in the assassination, and sent several more to prison. Lincolns killing was also a conspiracy. Truth is sometimes stranger than fiction.

Sometimes, I m strictly amazed at the stupidity of people responding to statements without out doing any research. No One saw Oswald shoot anyone and No One has ever matched "bullet fragments" to Oswald s supposed rifle! That Mannlicher- Carcano rifle was not fired that day.......Period! Everyone who has studied this case knows it was a conspiracy....CIA, Military Intel, and Organized Crime...a simple Coup...by those who at the time felt that they were acting in the best interest of the US, given Kennedy s views on Cuba, Viet Nam, and Civil Rights. Now can we move on to the pressing issues of today.

If a person looks at ballistics and not shaky evidence, then the 3 cartridge casings on the 6th floor in the Texas School Book Depository should mean something. Harold Norman heard the casings hitting the floor. Brennan saw Oswald fire the shot and Frazier drove Oswald to work with Oswald carrying his package.

According to the forensic evidence and the MAJORITY of earwitnesses giving testimony there were three and only three. Here is the evidence:

1. One shot missed the car entirely and struck a curb about 300 feet in the line of fire. A chip injured Dallas Dentis James Tague. That was most likely the first shot.

2. The second bullet entered President Kennedy's upper back, lower neck area, transversed his body avoiding hitting any bones that would alter its trajectory greatly, exiting his throat and traveling on to strike Governor Connally in the upper back. Connally's entrance was a long and elongated, proving that something had already thrown the bullet off its straight line path from the rifle muzzle.

3. The third and final shot struck Kennedy in the back of the head, breaking up and exiting the right frontal region above his right eye and right ear.

4. The MAJORITY of ear witnesses said they heard three and only three shots.

5. Fragments from bullets ONLY matching Oswald's rifle have been found.

6. In the sniper's nest on the 6th floor of the Texas Schoolbook Depository Building there were three and only three spend casings. No other casings have EVER been found to this date that can be traced to the shooting that afternoon.

7. The injuries to the two men ALL trace back to the TSBD and nowhere else. ALL injuries to Connally came from the rear. ALL injuries to Kennedy were proven to have originated from the rear--NONE from any other direction.

8. The clothing on Kennedy was pushed INWARD on his back and OUTWARD on his tie on the front--proving to reasonable minds that he was shot only from the rear.

Oliver Stone is not a historian. He claims there were shots coming from three different directions. NOT ONE WITNESS in Dealey Plaza agrees with his ridiculous scenerio. And NONE of the injuries to either men support his wild-eyed claims.

Robert Groden is not taken seriously by an Kennedy assassination scholar. He was always touted as a photographic expert by Kennedy assassination buffs until he was entirely discredited during the O.J. Simpson trial when he was called as an "expert witness" and was forced to reveal that he not only wasn not a photograph expert he had never even graduated from high school, had no formal scholarly training in photographic analysis, did not belong to ANY recognized organizations for photographic experts, and didn't even know the name of any. Among real scholars, Groden has been exposed as a fake and a fraud.

Notice that the responses after mine will NOT offer any solid proof of their claims. I will confidently make that claim right now. They will all give theories but my answer will be the ONLY one with actual evidentiary facts to support it.

That should tell you who is right in this endless debate.

Three shots and ONLY three shots.

PS. Now an educated response to one poster below who raised several points--all which are inaccurate based n the actual evidence. I will discuss his points one by one:

1. Read the book written by District Attorney Jim Garrison called "On the Trail of the Assassins".

He is the only person to ever bring anyone to trial on the Kennedy assassination.

(However the oster fails to point out that the jury deliberated 340 minutes and determined that Garrison had no case and the defendant was found not guilty. Garrison had NO evidence of a conspiracy at all.)

2. He points out that if only 3 bullets were fired, one bullet would have to account for 7 different wounds in two different people. And the bullet that the Dallas PD turned in that was supposed to have been fired by the Oswald rifle, was in nearly perfect condition as if it had been fired into a tank of water.

(This is blatantly false and it ignores key evidence. The bullet was greatly flattened lengthwise and was nowhere near pristine. In addition, the fragments taken from Governor Connally were matched to THAT bullet to exclusion of all other bullets on the planet. The previous poster failed to point that little tidbit out didn't he? )

3. The Dallas PD brought a German Mauser down from the book warehouse that disappeared. After it was turned in as evidence.

(This is also false. No German Mauser was ever found. The actual murder weapon, the Italian Mannlicher-Carcano looks a lot like a German Mauser and one of the officers there when the rifle was found initially mistakenly thought it was a Mauser. His mistake led some te believe a second rifle was found and entered into evidence. That is not true.)

4. Oswald was in contact with agents of the FBI, and warned them about the assassination before it happened. The Warren Commission contained a man that Kennedy had fired before he was killed.

(This is also blatantly false. Oswald said no such thing. I challenge ANYONE to produce this evidence. They won't because it doesn't exist.)

5. Three shells were "supposed" to have been found on one of the upper floors of the warehouse. Yet Oswald was said to have taken time to wipe his fingerprints off the rifle before hiding it after the shooting.

(False again. Oswald's rifle didn't hold prints on the wood portions. Even the FBi agents who later handled it could not find THEIR OWN prints. The wood stock was too old. However Oswald's prints WERE found on the trigger guard and on the barrel underneath the wood stock. He failed to mention that didn't he?)

6. Kennedy was not even supposed to be driving by that warehouse the day of the parade, the route had been changed by the mayor of Dallas that very morning, so Oswald would not have known to bring the rifle there that day, because the route was changed AFTER he was at "work".

(This is a blatant lie. the motorade route appeared in the newspaper several days prior. This previous poster is simply making up evidence to support his unsupportable postion of an alleged conspiracy. ANYONE can access the information from the Dallas Times Herald from earlier in the week and see the actual motorcade route.)

7. The mayor of Dallas was the brother of a US Army General that Kennedy had also fired. He worked with the man Kennedy fired that was on the Warren Commission.

(So what?)

8. The FBI took the Oswald rifle to their lab in D.C. but didn't find his finger prints on it. They sent it back to the Dallas PD, and a patrolman supposedly found a palm print on the gun that was supposed to have been Oswald's.

(True. The FBI failed to find the prints, they were later found. So what?)

(This is a blatant lie., The shells were NOT found at the scene of the shooting. This previous poster needs to do a little research. They wee found on the lawn of Barbara and Virginia Davis a block away. You can tell that this previous poster is hoping that no one knows the real facts in this case. Sadly he came up against someone that actually knows a lot about this case--me. And as a result his false claims are exposed as the lies they are. He is simply making up things.)

10. Too many witnesses on the street that day were chasing someone on an area known as the grassy knoll. But were stopped by men who identified themselves as US Secret Service men.

(False again. A policeman ran up the grassy knoll to see if there was anyone there. He later said he had no reason to think there was, and he said that he didn't see ANYTHING suspicious when he got there. The people also didn't see ANYTHING when they got there. And several people were asked questions by a variety of individuals who they falsely ASSUMED were secret service agents.)

11. Then Oswald is shot in the Dallas Police Dept. garage while being held by officers on both sides of him. The man that did the shooting was let into the garage by Dallas Police.

(Another blatant lie. He walked down the parking ramp on his own. There is not one speck of evidence that he was led down there by police. He said, homself that he was not led there by anyone and no one has EVER proven this bizarre claim. Another blatant lie.)

12. He was a known gangster named Jack Rubinstein, or commonly known as Jack Ruby.

(False again. He was not a gangster at all. He had friends who were involved in organized crime, but 40 years of research has failed to produce ONE SPECK of evidence that Ruby was involved in organized crime in ANY way. Yet one more made up claim.)

13. Do your own thinking. Everyone who could have been forced to testify to the investigation by Jim Garrison, were either killed in mysterious ways, poisoned, or murdered by shooting, stabbing and one fellow was even hacked to death with a machete.

(Notice that this poster did not provide a single name here. Just carzed allegations. the fact is that not ONE person associated with the assassination has ever died under mysterious circumstances. This is an old myth started by Penn Jones. All claims of mysterious deaths have been independently researched and disproven. Every one. If he had given any names I could address them one by one, but he didn't provide any names. Why? clearly he doesn't know any.)

(Man, this poster is wrong again. Oswald's firing accuracy has been duplicated time and time again. Most recently in 2003 by the Discovery that duplicated Oswald's feat and accuracy time and time again. It is another blatant lie to claim that no one has duplicated Oswald's feat. People who say this simpoy need to read more and research more and they will find their ridiculous claims are false.

16. On top of all of this stuff, 8 months after the assassination the FBI released information that nitrate tests performed on Oswald the day of the shooting showed he had not fired a gun that day.

(False again. the nitrate tests proved the exact opposite. This is a lie. ANYONE can read the Warren Report and see that the nitrate tests showed Oswald tested POSITIVE for nitrates on his hands.)

17. Do your own thinking. The US Govt. has twice started to investigate what was viewed as a conspiracy involving more than one shooter. Both times someone has stopped them.

(Please tell me WHO has stopped the government? The truth is that BOTh times the government investigated the Kennedy assassination they completed BOTh investigations. I don't know what on earth this is even talking about.)

I meet people like this all the time. they don't know much about the case, they read one book and think they are experts, and to support their bizarre claims they make up or falsify evidence. The country is filled with these people. But careful research and serious scholarship reveals three and onoy three shots all fired by ONE gunman from ONE location.
