You should have more than one anti-spyware program, I use three.

You need an Antivirus, not a virus scan or a spyscan. Firewall is fine but it too needs constant updating on WinUpdate. Free antivirus and a good one is at www.grisoft.com and free antispy is a Spybot Searchdestroy when you innoculate it.

You need to add to that MozillaFirefox browser, that browser is a thousand times safer than WindowsInternetExplorer 7, which uses Active X. And Activex means an active exchange between an outside computer and yours,

MozillaFirefox was developed thur a grant from Mozilla foundation and leading universities and IT DOES NOT USE ACTIVEX. thus there is zero chance of interaction between two computers using that browser. Fact is a number of Universities around the country do not allow the use of Windows Internet Explorer browser, it is a dangerous browser in which personal files of grades, and finiancial info have been stolen.

I tried to keep the 'best' on my computer...for protection for me and my family. I have tried all kinds until I found Invisus Direct. With them I was using Norton and AVG, and when I ran a free pc scan with Invisus this scan found over 70 hackers on my pc...plus other things. I now only trust Invisus and for the following reasons just for starters!!
