Lets say a 5"6.5, thirteen year old girl was purposly eating 1700kcal day to maintain a weght of 117 pounds. Could she be damaging her growth?

As long as you're eating an adequate, balanced diet & not starving yourself, it shouldn't hurt.
It also depends on your particular body type, your level of physical activity & even heredity. There are also other factors.
A doctor or nutritionist could give you better advice, though.

No u r no longer unfavourable your boost in any respect. i actually do hate the very undeniable truth that society makes you experience like u could be teeny tiny as a way to be popular. There r such truly some females and females those who die each and each and familiar only to be skinny and popular. 1700 energy an afternoon isnt too undesirable. only save in ideas- love who u r on the interior too!

I dont think so. I have always weighed a little bit and im 6 foot tall. I weigh around 165 right now.

Well, I was always underweight (due to genetics) and I reached my expected height of 5'4". But I would imagine that if she was purposely starving herself, that it could affect her development.
