Try to place flyers where you know there will be people needing a babysitter.
Like a school, church or daycare . With any business , make your you are licensed and insured and post the Lic numbers on the flyers, you will have more chances of getting responses that way.

There is probably a small neighborhood newspaper that is free or charges very little to place an ad. These have a wider audience than flyers. Also, make sure you can give references and their phone numbers. Good luck. Many people want reliable babysitters, so don't give up. Also... did you post those flyers near schools or day cares so parents can see them when dropping their kids off?

There's a rule of thumb in advertising that says someone has to see a message SEVEN times before it registers with them. Like the first answerer said, be patient - and create a plan for following up with more postings of the flyers in the same locations.

keep on handing out more flyers go to local places where parents take their kids put up flyers or do up a website and -email people or go to the local schools and find out when parents are having PTA meeting put the word out.All you can do is keep at it I'm sure someone will respond soon! good luck!Heck if you were around me i would be taking you up on this so just hang in there and don't give up! Be patient. Not everyone who received your flyer needs a babysitter and maybe no one needs your services right now.
Follow up in a few weeks with another flyer and maybe add more information to it, too.

i imagine it may be threat-free to placed your telephone determination on your flyers. yet to boot i have self belief e-mail could be only as efficient. rather a lot easily everyone has an e-mail deal with. Plus they could experience more suitable positive about e-mailing you assorted questions they have about your journey, availability and different questions. reliable luck!

just wait. nothing you can do. in another week send out some new ones. Highlight your qualities and skills....are you CPR certified, do you have references, do your fliers appear to be professional, etc? A lot of people don't feel comfy leaving their kids with someone they don't know. Don't take it personal.
