I hate the flyers...I wish Marty would have came here to Tampa!

Marty played himself out in Buffalo and was thought to be trade bait last season. He has played well here and is much loved in the community and from what i hear, also in the lockerroom. I wish we could have got more than a draft pick for him, but the cap was killing us with all of out call ups due to injury.
Philly will gain from just having the guy on the bench if they decide to keep either Niitimakki or Esche, and split Marty's plying time. The problem he has is that Philly sucks and are a long way away from the plyoffs. He just might end up in Tampa as Marty is a free agent this summer. Tampa should dump Denis, and fast(He is the NHL equivalent to Drew Bledsoe....everywhere he goes, he loses his job to some unknown kid who comes out of nowhere...think about it)

well I'm from Buffalo and have been a Sabres fan for years, and have loved Marty since we got him...it's a shame that he couldn't start here and I'm glad he can get the playing time he deserves. I do wish it was somewhere where he could maybe make a difference though. The Flyers are terrible and will be for at least a few more seasons...I would love to see Marty in Tampa with Lecavalier an St. Loius...and a Miller vs. Biron conference final would be great

It's too bad for the bolts, they could really use a goalie. truth is, they're so close to the cap it's sick. and that's because of 3 guys. But let's see what they do in the playoffs. they still have a good team.
on the other hand, the flyers are officially rebuilding. biron will give them a No 1 and nittymaki will be a great backup. I'm not a flyers fan, but i gotta say, they got some great prospects & youth. they just need some mobile D-men 7 a No 1 center.

I don't mind the Flyers--they're certainly not a threat to my team (the Sabres) or anyone else, for that matter. I'm glad Marty has a chance to be part of a team that he can play first-string goalie for and carry into the future, but I'm sad because unlike most other Sabres fans, I'm not 100% sold on Ryan Miller and I don't know if he can take the team where it needs to go in the long haul.

Well first of all Buffalo needs a strong Backup goaltenderbehind Miller but now philly has him :1. Even with the difference between the netminding in philly they arent going anywhere with the forwards and defence they have now... not until a few years time by the time Biron is old and cant move.

The Flyers needed him more, plain and simple, and Buffalo doesn't need a goalie like Biron behind Ryan Miller. Tampa was very complacent at the deadline and could have traded for him but they are confident in their team, you should be too.
And please, spellcheck. Everyone makes mistakes, but every pencil has an eraser :)

Yes but the Flyers payed the big bucks and with 4 kids he had to go there.

freaky yet suitable like you're searching through glass. i could hate be living house with at evening and its all darkish and all you spot is sparkling eyes.LOL My cousin has eyes like that once i could babysit her as youngster she could scare the heck out of me at her moms living house .
