What users do you notice TYPICALLY provide good answers (either to your questions or other questions)?

Who provides the worst answers?

(I suspect some people will answer the first part, but not the second. lol. I suppose that's okay!)

In the Japan section...

There's a reason why Cyn is the number one answerer. Yes, she answers the most question, but she's also the best ^_^. Personally, I also think she's rather cute and if she were 18 and acts in real life like she does on Yahoo Answers, I might just fall in love with her. But alas, she has a husband whom she's head over heels with. (I wonder how they met... isn't it romantic? American woman falls in love with Japanese man, goes to live in Japan, and falls in love with the culture there...)

Black Dog's answers are really good too. I'm presuming he's Japanese, and it's nice to have a native's perspective on things.

I haven't seen much of Yozora lately, but when she DOES answer, she's top notch.

As for the worst answers, it's a different person every time. Bad answerers usually aren't dedicated answerers, so we don't see too much of the same ones. And if someone constantly gives bad answers on purpose, then I'd suppose he/she has a bunch of aliases to avoid detection.

This is an interesting question. For good answers, just check the top 10 list at the top of the Japan page. I like the answers from them.

I hope people notice me. I try to be as thorough and honest as possible in my answers. If others have answered a question well, I try to add to their information to help the questioner as much as possible.

As for worst answers, I can't really put my finger on specific people, but I personally hate the ones that are in it for the points. I also report answers that I feel are inappropriate (questions too).

I have noticed that Cyn and Looking for the Truth usually have good answers. (I am sure there are others, but they came to mind!) I haven't been here as long, but I think that most of my answers are good. (I can admit that there are times when I've completely misunderstood the question and posted a dumb response. lol)

A good question ASKER I have noticed is: Iksetg (I think that's his name)
Occasionally his questions are a bit offensive, but he posts in all of the "Asia Pacific" categories, and often his questions are unique and interesting.

Worst answerers... I don't really know. Probably the worst ones are the trolls that don't stay long enough to remember. I think some of the question askers are worse than the answerers. Bad question ASKERS are Pi and that guy that kept asking about "tools".
I hate question askers who choose inaccurate or poorly composed answers. It makes me sour to see the best answer (and they truly are not always mine) not get chosen. Like that question about "Japanese inventions" and the asker chose the person who listed "Fiji and raw fish". Neither are inventions, so it's just annoying.

I don't notice names so much but adam and cyn seem to stick in my mind as good answerers most of the time.

As for bad anwerers I remember some guy who always answered something negative about japan and was going on about how glad he was to leave. Then there are the japan-bashers who use any opportunity to throw some unrelated bit of criticism at the country. In both cases, it's not a matter of inaccurate answers but excuses to throw dirt.

HI Yuka,
I noticed that you are one of the answerers that provide good answers here..but seldom I see you here,,,,I read them in other categories that related to Japan..so I hope I answered your question..and obviously if you always here in this category you will read almost all the answers and remember those who provide good answers regularly..you are talented, young and wonderful person..the way I review your answers on other categories...hope to see you more of your answers here.
There are many nice people here, I am impressed on their answers..they spend more time than me..lol ...nice to read those answers details by details..
I am a contributor here and sometimes I answered questions and I really appreciated those other answerers who pointed out to me directly if my answer was not the answer think they know.because I don't want to mislead or give incomplete answers too and confuse the asker..
, I don't live in Japan now for almost 3 years and I like reading any answers here to get information and get updated. good or bad impressions...yes I think there are many things that we are not aware of what is going on there. . ...I don't think distance and communication problem would be an issue if you want to get involved in the things you enjoy doing and spend some time.
I like many answerers here, especially those who pointed out what is good or bad..it isn't always the good that asker wants to know most of the time.

Personally I don't care who's answering good or bad. I like reading "yozora"'s answers. It's because her English sounds sophisticated and I can learn British English. But I don't know whether her English is really sophisticated or not since I'm still not good at English. I just feel that.

There was a man earlier who really hated Japan. I don't remember his name. He was always speaking ill of Japan. Then many seemed to dislike him. But I sometimes thought that it was good to hear bad points of Japan.

There are a few I like to read - but I know them more by SEEING them here than by remembering their names. Not a helpful answer for you, but yes, I *do* appreciate certain specific repliers.

Worst? There *are* quite a few who are consistently off-base, IMO - and the funny thing is, I *do* remember *their* names! Won't say them here though.

The sincere people answer questions well.

The ignorant ones give horrible answers.
