I work in audit/healthcare and simply don't want to travel anymore (after seven years). I'd like to be at home sometimes so that I don't lose connections to the people in my life. I don't want to start over in a new field, but at this point I'm considering my options. Thanks!

I don't know where you live, but if you live in a state that has legalized gambling... there is a job for you.

Gambling is one of the most strictly regulated businesses around. And that requires auditors. The major upside of this is little travel (if any) and the benefits of a state job. I heard you get vested on health insurance in some states as quickly as 5 years.

Good luck!

Have you ever considered starting a business? There are many people who have "decent" jobs, but they have no time freedom. As such, many of my associates started their businesses for this reason alone.

If you would like more information, you can contact me privately. Other than that, best wishes on your search.
