Women tend to be comfortable with gay men. They are very safe.

There are some who are, and there are those who aren't. There's really no consensus across the board the way there seems to be for men to be excited by lesbians or lesbian sex.

There are lots of women who are aroused by men who happen to be gay, even if the idea of them being gay doesn't do anything for them; it's that old concept of the f*g hag who falls in love with her guy, because, well, he's smart, handsome, suave, good dresser, sensitive, loves to talk and go shopping . . . he's everything she could want in a friend and a lover! Moreover, it seems women constantly complain that all the cute or sexy men are gay, so I think a lot of gay men are attractive to women.

As for women who are turned on by gay men and the idea of gay male sex, well, they're out there, but not in huge numbers. I myself, a bisexual woman, find male-male action one of the hottest things out there, and I frequently watch gay male porn. I think that the women who are turned on by gay men is a growing niche- you'll find that the predominate creators of yaoi or shonen-ai (Japanese gay male manga or anime) are straight women, and it's targeted exclusively at straight women, too. Slash fiction and slash fan videos are overwhelmingly made by straight young women, and it seems like the new trend is for girls to fall in love with emo-bois-kissing and all that. I definitely think that more and more women are finding it erotic to imagine two men together.

However, in the end, most women are not aroused by gay men. Some just find the idea of gay sex not a turn on, others don't want to see masculine/masculine, but rather male/female and that opposite dynamic, some think it's pointless (what's the use if you can't be with them? Why would you fantasize about that?), etc., etc.. They're in the majority.

Hope that helps.

Why be turned on to someone you can never have? I like gay men but not in that way, I just think they make the best of friends

Most aren't turned on by gay men. However, some of them are. I've definitely heard more than once that some girls like to watch gay porn.

You mean watching two guys go at it? I find two hot men kissing and getting it on to be very erotic. I know alot of other women who like it too but are loath to admit it. Men are free to admit they like watching two women but us women are usually called "sick" or "gross" if we admit that we're turned on by watching two dudes. Fck that, I don't care what people think.

Depends.

Are they intelligent, witty, well-groomed, polite, compassionate, comfortable with who they are? If so, then yes, this straight woman finds that very attractive.

Are they opinionated, narcassistic, competitive, emotionally stunted misognyists that are looking for either a quickee or their mother? Oh wait, they couldn't be, that just described a straight man.
