There are a number of Vanity Press-type places that are not reputable. I have a manuscript ready to go but since my name is NOT Hillary Clinton, I will have to pay for the publishing myself.

Hey Jerry,

Reputable is a good question on any of them in cyber space. Here are some excellent sites that describe process and some that say the publish. Others say you need an agent. I would be interested in following your progress, so am starring this question.

I would go with lulu.com if you're self publishing. I have a printed book from them and it's a high quality product. You have all the creative freedom and the customer service is good. All in all a good experience.
