Usually (I believe in most states) if you are 16 or more you can. Probably something to consider is who is paying the bill, folks or your "friend in need"? Also alot of states have web sites to go to that would give you further guidance. I am going to guess the issue evolves around a sex issue of sorts....one of the topics, besides drug, use younger folks don't carry to talk to their parents. I would recommend going to a church of your friends choice and speaking a clergy before doing anything else if it is one of these topics. Take GOOD care of yourself and your friend

You can make appointment to see the doctor yourself and they are not aloud to say anything to parents or anyone they are there to help you. Make a appointment to see the doctor or you can go to a nhs walk in center where their are people to help you. There is so many choices for young people to get doctor's help. But is always good to speak to the parents they might be able to help and don't worry yeah they might be mad but it is good to talk.

A friend? Uh, ok. Depends on what it's for. I assume it has something to do with sex. Yes, they can go to the doctor and the doctor cannot tell the parents. But, your friend may have to pay for it themselves. Their parents are going to wonder why they have a bill from the doctor and their teenager didn't tell them.

No, you need your parents to sign a waver and insurance to be billed.
Unless of course they want an abortion, in many states that can happen without them even knowing.
