I have to thinking of a topic for an cause/effect essay?
(for an English class)
I don't know if these topics are good: too much tv, happiness, anger..
can you give me a good topic please?

Various modern disasters have been caused by some small oversight, shoddiness, carelessness, hubris etc. The Titanic, Challenger, the ferry disasters in the UK and Baltic.
Chaos theory as a re-working of old adages: a stitch in time, for want of a nail etc. Sample Essays. com is the easiest source for topics. The film Butterfly Effect is really worth watching. Highly engrossing. Not a documentary but a thriller/horror/sci fi effort.

anything that's cause and effect? try these:
eating disorders (cause: the pain making the person want to starve or throw up what they eat, effect: losing dramatic weight)
segregation in the 50s and 60s (cause: the blacks were separated from the whites and blacks weren't treated fairly, effect: the black people decided to fix this by doing sit-in's and stuff)
i don't really know what other ones to think of right now. Just take something out from your life that caused you to do something and had a major effect on you. Car accidents, sneaking out of the house, being pressured into buying something or whatever.

Cause- how or why did it happen?
Effect- what are the consequences?
Like poverty in the United States, or media violence or AIDS in Africa.
