I think either one could be our next president, both are very impressive as I see it. But underlying that is the fact that a woman and a black man not only is in the race, but are front runners is historic in itself. It has been a long time since such progress has been made to make our country move forward like it will be in 08. Even if they do not come out of the primaries good, due some event. I am once again proud to be an American. While nether came out of a log cabin, it goes back to grade school when the teacher said anybody can be president.

I'm putting my money on John Edwards. He is by far the most electable with the most appeal to all demographic groups of voters. I'm not voting for Hillary or Barack because they have not discussed the issues and how they would go about solvig the problems this election will be about, i.e. the occupation of Iraq, health care, etc.

The Democrats are aware as of other Americans that due to the popularity of Bush, the republicans aren't really the favorites of Americans anymore. The Dems. know they have a better shot this time and one of the reasons why Clinton and Obama are running.

As much as we like to say that we are not racist or sexist, the identities of these two candidates do affect our votes. We won't really be able to determine if they have a shot until we're done with primaries and see whose really running in the presidential race.

Ya know, I think they are the opening act as you put it! Neither
one of them has any military experience nor do they have
enough knowledge to run this country in these extremely
troubled times. We need someone who is going to put the fear
of GOD in those disgusting, severly brainwashed, poor excuses
for human beings called Terrorists. We should all say a little
prayer that the right MAN is voted into the White House.

If We are Lucky they will both drop in the polls and someone with a better plan will emerge. Obama may be right in 2012 or 2016 but Hillary will never be the right choice for America..
