Europe vs America...whose values are closer to the UK's?

Well I was born in America and have lived here almost all my life. I've accepted the fact that my morals are not represented by our government, and that's fine. Honestly, it's not too bad to live here, especially if you're middle/upper class. I liked Europe, Netherlands and Germany specifically. I do not think France or the UK is that great. If I had to choose between America and France, obviously I'd choose America. If it ever gets really bad here, I'll either head north to Canada, or maybe hit up Australia or Netherlands or Germany, somewhere cool and liberal that's not gonna get itself into wars all the time.

I think I'd have to go for France too. Their values are much closer to the UK's than America.

France for sure, much closer to the UK values and way of life than America. When they go on strike its for good reason and they stand up to the government.

France - unfortunately due to our common language we are - in the UK being flooded with negative American influences, there was no gun, gangster rap, fast food nonsense in the UK when I was younger. Also I suspect that the USA is brilliant for the rich, awful for the poor. Americans want to know why are disliked? Well I accept that some of the people are really nice but your government's record stinks and the stuff coming out of your popular culture is really degrading life in the UK. We've even kids with guns here now - that's not British. Also the contrast between your sanctimonious born again fascists and your porn industry looks really weird especially when your preachers get caught with their pants down. France has better weather, is safe, beautiful, every town is different, the environment is preserved and the food and wine is brilliant.

Europe is more civilised. The USA is still a barbaric nation along with Saudi Arabia, China, Nigeria and others that continue to kill their citizens legally. The USA will be recognised as emerging from the dark ages when it stops executions. There are some civilised States in the USA but barbarism still rules the majority.

As France values intellectualism and culture, has a much healthier diet, a superb cuisine with lots of vino to glug and values sociablity and friendship, what is there to choose?
The US lives off pizza, burgers, drive by shootings, tastee-lite squeezable cheese in a spray can, gangsta/pimp rap, the worlds most hard core porn industry and extremist religious christian nazi fundamentalism, tell me dear reader, which one would you choose?
