I saw a part of it, but it wasn't spectacular when I was looking at it. I've seen reports it was the most spectacular for 10 years, but I have certainly seen a much better one. There was a bit of cloud around, and that considerably reduced the effect. You need a perfectly clear sky to see the best coppery colour.
Keep an eye on Wikipedia - Lunar Eclipse to ensure you don't miss the next one, if it's visible where you live. It hasn't been updated yet, but there are some very good pictures of last night's eclipse.

Yes I did, but at the time I didn't realize what was going on! My mom called me and told me that I had seen it. I wish I had known what I was looking at; I was sitting there thinking, "Gosh, the moon is dim looking tonight!" Little did I know, I was watching an eclipse! They happen all the time though. If you want to see one, there's another one on the 28th August this year, which will be visible in some parts of the world. NASA has a website that shows where they are visible. Have fun!

I did, it was really beautiful.
