Oh my god YES!!
I've always had really great skin, hardly ever got pimples (sometimes I broke out with a couple when I was on my period, but other than that, I never really had any). Before I took a pregnancy test I actually thought I was getting my period because I was breaking out, amongst other things like that.
I thought after the first few months they might go away, but I had a breakout probably once a week for my whole pregnancy until about a month ago... about 35-36 weeks pregnant.
Good Luck and Congratulations! It's not that big of a deal, it's just our crazy pregnancy hormones!

Hey you! Yes this is normal I am 17 weeks pregnant and have been prgnant twice before this and never borke out this bad. SOOO i've learned that salt scrubs and epsome salt in the bath you can also use a few drops of essintial oil to make it smell better in the bath. The salt is a natural healer as well it is used for aches and pains as well. Also you can try carmex (the lip balm) it seems to help my face when it's broke out you can even use it on pimples in general. You simply wash the area and apply carmex. It will take about a week to totally clear up but it works.

In the beginning of my pregnancy, I had the same thing. All over my back, chest and some on my face, which I never had. I am 28 weeks now and they are all gone. They did not last that long. I used the Neutrogena acne body wash and they all went away. My doc said it was OK. For my face I used proactive and they also went away. They may go away they may not, it is the hormones. If they really bother you and none of the over counter stuff helps, I am sure that your doctor will give you something. Good luck.

You are SO NOT ALONE!
It was worse than any other time in my life! I thought I has a rash on my back!
If you weren't pregnant, the docs can give you acne meds, but... not with baby on board!
Here are a couple of tips...
#1 Don't pick at them... this could lead to scarring.
#2 Hydrogen peroxide (cheap at dollar store/ Wal-mart) this can clean the pores and is totally safe. Just clean face a couple of times a day.
#3 Don't worry. They do go away.
Congrats... it's worth it in the end!

I've never had a problem with acne, but once pregnant, I got these HUGE WHITE CYSTY pimples.
My doctor did say its from the hormones, and told me that he had read in a study, that more women with acne during pregnancy have boys. He didn't say how much more, though.
My first child was a boy, and I just found out I'm 6 weeks now, so, maybe another boy??

I can sympathize. A few weeks before my baby was born I was covered with acne. I had pimples on my back and face that were nearly cystic. They are caused by hormone imbalances. Try not wearing make-up, keeping your face clean with a safe cleanser, and using a dermatologist recommended make-up (glo minerals is excellent). Also, go have a nice facial done. That really cleared me up.

HORMONES honey ... deal with it! I was the same way until I got pregnant and then a few weeks after I delivered they went away. Your body is going through A LOT right now and this is one of those things.
