My 23 yr old bf..together a year..has terrible anger and abandonment issues. he holds grudges and acts like a child constantly. he avoids conflict and turns off his phone or yells at me to leave him alone (like a child would do) his mom suddenly called after 12 yrs of no contact a few months ago and he seems so much angrier since then. recently he keeps dumping me and told me since i broke up with him for a month (septemer) he wont get over it. I cant deal with the fighting, his anger and his constant acting like a child and dumping me. HELP

Why would you want to continue to invest affection, time and energy in this guy? He clearly needs counseling to work through these very important issues and, if he's not willing to go, then you should consider dumping him because he's only going to take out his anger inappropriately on you!

You shouldn't have to deal with it. I mean yeah, it's partially your problem too if you decide to stay with him. But it sounds to me like he has a lot of growing up to do. And you need someone to be a girlfriend to, not a mom. He is acting like a child and you have every reason to stay away from that atmosphere. It's not good for either one of you guys.
I would tell him that you're there for him if he wants to talk, but you don't want to get back together with him until he deals with his anger/abandonment issues. Tell him that you deserve better than to be yelled at all the time (and you do). Show him that you care for him and want to help him, but remove yourself from the situation when he directs his anger at you. Tell him you'll talk to him when he's feeling better.
He really sounds like he should see a counselor. You might suggest it, and hopefully he'll go for that.

He is an overgrown child and is looking for a replacement for his mother. He has serious issues and unless you are looking to raise a 23 year old 2 year old, I would suggest moving on. He will only grow up when he is ready to and that may be never.

Kimme hangs out in families and relationship hoping to learn how to fit in one. She was abandoned just like the penguin in batman. That's where the producers got the idea. They had to make the real penguin look better because audiences couldn't stomach the real Kimme. think what he will do if u get married and have kids. he might abuse your kids by hitting them. or screaming at them. just forget about him and have a great life!

MAYBE YOU SHOULD REALLY TALK TO HIM
A VERY DEEP CONVERSATION WHERE YOU CAN TELL HIM HE NEEDS SOME HELP. HIS MOM LEAVING HIM HAS SCARD HIM BUT THERE IS HOPE, THE THING IS HE HAS TO WANT TO GET SOME HELP IN ORDER TO HEAL.
