The best thing to do would be to just call Best Buy or Circuit City and ask them if they carry it, or they may be able to order it in for you. You said you hate ordering on-line, but I've found alot of things I was looking for on eBay that I couldn't find elsewhere.

Ok, time you got used to ordering online. However, "The Shining should be available at any Virgin or HMV outlet. If they don't have it in stock, ask the guys at the counter if they can order it in for you.

Check out the link Pure Numan has given. I buy most of my films through Amazon now but I do so through their marketplace ( the new and used option on any item) which means in the UK I don't have to pay VAT and it's usually much cheaper. Their service is generally excellent but I only buy from sellers with 96% or more positive feedback.

Yes, places like Circuit City and Best Buy carry it. Don't ever order crap online if you've heard bad things. But if you can't find it, I'd suggest eBay.

I've seen it at at least 4 Wal-Mart's around Halloween, but haven't seen it in any retailer, other than at the mall.

Call around were you live. Your best bet is online, you can maybe have it a "mail-in" payment.

It was a crappy movie, I don't know why you would want it but have you tried Ebay? I know you hate ordering online but if anyone would have it, it would be there, and usually much cheaper than the stores metioned above.
