What classic cartoon(s) had transforming animals?

I saw in Wal-Mart two tin cases for classic cartoons, about a set of transforming connecting animals(much like the Power Rangers but cartooned) I think it was all tigers but I'm trying to find the show, if someone can help me I would much appreciate it and thank you in advance.
