watch the texas chainsaw massacre, then tcm:the beginning. tcm:the beginning is like a prequel, but you don't watch it first.
also, i agree with the guy who said to watch the 1974 version. it's very low budget, but it'll make you jump in your seat. 70s and 80s horror/slasher films didn't rely heavily on blood, guts and gore. i remember, as a kid, covering my ears instead of my eyes because the music told you when some $h!t was about to go down. LOL

See the first one from the 1970's. That's the only one worth watching. The remake the and prequal were terrible movies and did the original no justice.

sure it truly is why it truly is stated as the starting up. in case you said the starting up you spotted it shows how the dad grew to develop into the cop and how the bloodbath began, in the different video clips you probably did not understand.
