I don't know, I was on the floor of the Senate at the time...

She didn't flat-out call him a bundle of sticks, but I did think it was funny when she mentioned rehab, it made me think of Mark Foley's antics. Coulter is another mouthpiece for the more base, of the republican base, big deal. The disdain she has for democrats is admirable, she oozes venom, the kind other intolerant republicans understand. She serves her purpose. Thankfully she represents and speaks to a minority of republicans, the extreme right wing, the part of the party responsible for losing the last elections to the democrats.

I found it funny.
Like you've never called someone "gay" before? Say no and hear me call you a liar. I know gay people who call people "gay" and "fa ggot." Get over it already.
She did insult SOME 9/11 widows, the ones who were trying to PROFIT off of their HUSBANDS DEATHS. She was right in what she said. You should read Godless and see exactly what she was saying and why she was saying it.
She was pointing out the exploitive nature of some Democrat politicians who parade these women around and have them give their opinions and get off on people who disagree with them. I mean seriously, just because this woman lost a loved on on 9/11 I should hold her opinion of the Iraq War in reverence? Sorry, but experianceing tragedy DOES NOT make you immune to refute and it DOES NOT make you an expert in politcal and wartime matters. I feel bad for them but I don't let sympathy cloud my judgement.
Those "HARPIES" (Ann's words) were manipulating public sentiment by exploiting their husband's deaths and profiting from it. It's shameful
Oh, and John Edwards is a FA GGOT.
(That's FLATOUT calling someone a name)
Let ye among you without sin.......

I know that this doesn't matter but, is he gay? I didn't think so, did he call her a lesbian? If she was not retaliating or calling him out of the closet, then I think that she must be a lying pathetically narrow minded bigot? Were Democrats upset when Woopie Goldberg, while addressing the DNC, said a lot of really vulgar things about the President of the United States of America? Because I recall the Republicans where mad and the Dems were yelling back something about free speech.

Maybe you should re-read the article you're using as a reference, skippy....she didn't "flat-out" call Edwards anything. When asked her opinion on him, she said something to the effect of, "If you use the word fa***t nowadays, you have to go to rehab." That's not an exact quote, but it sure isn't "flat-out" calling Edwards anything. To do that, she would have had to say, "Edwards is a fa***t!" She didn't do that.
I don't think she was right in her comments, but I also don't think YOU are right for deliberately skewing the facts to support your own bigoted opinion. But then again, I should expect anything less from a liberal?
I think not.

It is ironic that an ugly transvestite like Ann Coulter calls someone a f@gg0t. Isn't she/he one? She/it has the largest adam's apple I have ever seen. Austin Powers says, "It's a man, baby!"
Truth be told, if anyone is gay, it's Dubya Bush. Edwards was a quarterback on his high school and college teams, while Georgie Boy was a cheerleader. I don't think I have ever met a male cheerleader who wasn't gay. Edwards is a self made man who worked his way out of poverty. Bush is a spoiled rich mama's boy. Bush had a male prostitute visit the White House many many times and even got him a press pass. Bush's dearest friend, fellow cheerleader, and college roommate, Victor Ashe is gay. Bush made him the Ambassador to Poland and sends him candy and flowers.
Who is sooo gay?? Bush, Bush, Bush! YAY TEAM!

And what about your liberal Maureen Dawd and Michael Moore, and Sean Penn, and Rosie, and all those other loose cannons. She has the right to say this if she wants, she is a commentator, it's what they do. Your precious liberal freedom of speech, remember?
