vomiting? oh my, this sounds like your child might have something wrong with his/her throat. there might be something internally that is not allowing food to pass easily.
i would contact your Peds Doc immediately with your concerns. unless you have already told your doc and he/she has not done anything...then i would seek out a second opinion from a specialist, an ears, nose and throat specialist.

You should go to your doctor, this could be serious, or it could be something straightforward. Either way, if your baby is vomiting most of its feed up, it will not be gaining as much weight as it should. This happened to our daughter, and we were given a powder to put in the feeds which thickened it up and made it easier for her to digest. But you do need to get medical advice, I find it hard to believe that you've let this go on for 5 months without doing so.

My son didn't take to solids until he was 14 months old - he was sick even on the simplest of foods. Every child is different. Stick to liquids for now and introduce more solid food in a few months. I'm sure baby will be fine given time.

You should take him to see his Dr. They would be able to tell you better if something is wrong and if the baby has continued to grow appropriately since the problem has started. Just make sure the baby is well hydrated until then.

Maybe try giving your baby proper food,eg, chicken and veg blended down a little with a little bit of gravy so that its not too dry.
My 10month old hates jars of baby food, so i just lightly blend up whatever i am having!

some baby's have an allergy to milk and this can be in infancy only or for life, some mothers use soya milk , but i feel this will last until your baby get older and on to more solid food.you are not on your own its hard work , seek advice from your midwife or health visitor if you are worried.

The baby doesn't like the type of food you are feeding. Try mashing or chopping up the food that you eat and feed.

now she may be ready for soft 'people' food, tiny bits of good hamburger, a soft peice of cheese, mashed potatoes she probably love! cooked green beans, if she has any teeth; a few cherrios on her tray or toast with butter.
