I'll vouch for that---I know you're actually quite beautiful.
I never thought of any of your pics as a mask--more like an expression.

Ok, I think you proved your point well. Don't base everything off hiding behind an avatar. Your not even close to being ugly from what I see if that is you. I liked your other Avatar cause it reminded me of this beautiful painting I saw that also had a dragon in it. But I just don't have a means of putting my picture on my avatar. I am just an average big guy. But I sure as hell ain't ashamed of myself. And you shouldn't be either.

I aggree with you. I use the pictures I choose to represent the essence of who I am. Better represented by the pictures I have chosen than any picture of me. Sometimes I feel like, Tom Selleck or Mel Gibson or Superman, or Adrian Paul of Highlander or any number of people with a good heart , strong, good looking and with a moral compass. What a person perceives is much more exciting than what is.

I think a lot of the non-Yahoo avatars are really creative. How is any different than using the ones Yahool supplies? Those aren't accurate portrayals either.

I agree. I don't show my real pic because I value my privacy. I use an avatar, which looks like a cartoon version of me. I feel much more comfortable with that, I feel much safer.

I just like posting various pics for the variety of it...I come across photos on the internet that I really like, so I'll use them as an avatar, like this one of David Bowie from one of my favorite movies...

some human beings would possibly not understand how, some human beings would possibly not have the potential to do it, i.e a digital camera, or scanner, and a few ought to make your suggestions up directly to not reveal a image of themselves in trouble-free terms for anonymity/shyness/ or the prefer to not be judged in a superficial way

Because they are so critical and they think a lot of real people are ugly. Bad attitude!
