it means you dont have enough ram in the machine...virtual memory is basically using space on your hard drive and having it act and function as your ram does, albeit a little slower

to increase the virtual memory right click my computer, go to properties, advanced, performance settings, advanced, and virtual memory is at the bottom click change..i would leave the initial size the same and normally set the max to 2-2.5 times the size of the initial....but you can go up to 4096 hit set, and ok all the way out, it will then prompt you to reboot
hope this helps...

How much memory do you have ? Click on "START" then click on "CONTROL PANEL" then click on "PERFORMANCE" and at the bottom it will tell you how much memory you have.
Nowadays 512 MB is not enough - things work much better and faster with 1024 (1GB). You can do a memory upgrade yourself by buying a chip from Walmart, Office Depot or on-line at Tiger Direct. You will need to know what type of memory chip you have now. Buy another like it or buy either a 512MB or 1GB chip. Pull out the memory chip on your motherboard and put the new chip in it's place then in the slot next to your new chip you can add your old chip. Biggest chip should always be in slot 0 and next size in slot 1 then 2 and last 3 etc.

most computers that have a virus show this error. maybe you just have a setting not correct for your swap drive, update your setting to the swap drive to auto and then defrag your hard drive and please load a virus checker. most isp will now give you one for free.
