Sleep with a humidifier.
Be careful using nasal sprays... longterm use may dry out your nose.

I have the exact same problem, at times I wake up because of it.
Another girl on line too. Every morning I blow my nose 1st thing in the morn. it's alot mucus membrane & blood. You should ask
your Mom the last time the air-ducts were cleaned out, as it's dry
air which may contain dust from the air vents blowing up from the
furnace. I have a vaporizer I can't find, you know you put solution
in it and steam comes out. I used that last year as I have ashma
too. Perhaps you'd feel alot better if u had one! The colder it gets
the higher the furnace goes up, therefore the rads are blowing higher thus making it dryer, maybe we have a sensitivity to it if it
doesn't bother other family members.
I hope I helped you out somewhat.

Try getting a nasal spray like Afrin. It helped me, and you can get it at any drug store.
