It's hilarious to see how many of these people think you're calling every Yahoo person who has ever used a Fairy ugly, as opposed to a small joke after probably seeing a couple ugly women who hide themselves behind fairy pictures on a myspace or something...
whatever. Actually, I always kind of thought so, but as I'm beginning to think about it more and more, I don't, just because my ex girlfriend as well as a few other good looking girls happen to really like the ways fairies look (for some reason that my Y chromozones just can't understand) and post them as avatars. That hadn't really occured to me before. It's still worth saying that to someone you hate with a fairy avatar, though. ;)

Definately a guy! Some "real-live" girls do play - but you better believe they're butt-ugly. Those games are for people trying to escape the miserable existence of their actual life. This is also known as "reality."

3. i don't really have blue hair, i just thought the avatar looked cool, and i am not full of myself, but I'm not ugly. and even if you saw me and your opinion is that i am ugly, at least my mind is not limited by my eyes.

I always wonder why they are all white?? Do the blacks not want to trust us?? We probably would be surprised if we could look behind some of the pretty little smiling faces!!! No, they probably just don't want freaky people using the internet to see what they look like and possibly attempt to stalk them....also, I think the ones who have graphics (other than the cartoons) for avatars seem somewhat artistic and creative.

umm no. It takes more effort to go in and download real pics. plus I don't know how and it's not at the top of my list of priorities. I could really care less about my avatar. Whatever is quickest. My avatar looks enough like the real me.

Nope. It is just something that is liked. Or, the picture could be something that is felt as an extension of the person's personality or inner emotions. I.e., a form of expression.
