How good is Maryland? Winthrop tested them earlier this year are they for real?

Maryland is on a hot streak right now, as you very well know. All the seniors are playing phenomenal, including Strawberry and Jones. They are also getting great play from Vasquez.
In regards to what seed they should get in the ACC tournament: they already have a seed. They will be playing Miami in College Park Thursday at 2 PM, for which I will be skipping class to attend.
What I find interesting is they are ranked #24 in the AP standings, and are unranked in the ESPN rankings. This is ridiculous I think. Maryland should be ranked higher than Duke is. After all, Maryland beat Duke twice this year, Maryland has a better record then Duke in ACC play, and even after we beat them, somehow their rank goes up.

I really hope the Terps can win the tourny, the only problem is that they don't have a first round bye. This means they will have to win 4 games in 4 days against ACC teams! Not a very easy task. Then you have to worry that if they do go 4 for 4 that they'll be tired come next thursday for the big dance. I'm happy with them being ranked 4 or higher. They really remind me of Florida last year who got hot at the right time to win the tournament, they came in as a 3 seed. GO TERPS!

YES, but it will be hard. This is one of the best group of teams i have seen in years. The ACC is the best league by far. A # 2 seed is too high, unless they winn the tournament. Maybe a 4 or 5.

Dude, Maryland is most def the best team in the ACC. The only team that could challenge them now is N.C. Maryland is great...Strawberry is playing great. They wil atleast make the sweet sixteen and I think they can play with any one in the country. Go Terps...Hell in a Shell!!!!

oh yah, They're on a roll. NC is the only team in the ACC that can challenge them. I think that #2 seed is too high. Maybe like 3 or 4.

They can win it and if they do they will get about a 3 making them the highest ranked ACC team.
