AM INTERESTED IN THE PROBLEM BOTH IN THE UK AND THE US . SINCE THEY BOTH HAVE SIMILAR PROBLEMS. ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS FROM MEXICO IN US AND I UNDERSTAND UK ALSO HAS A PROBLEM WITH THIS TOO.

Yes it is,my son in law has his own business as a builder,he is having terrible trouble getting jobs now.
Someone on here put the other day how wonderful it is to be able to get a cheap Polish plumber these days.

To keep crews busy my friend says he has to cut about 80% of the profit out of his bids. He has been in business for 10 years and say every year it gets worse and if Americans don't understand the problem real soon that their won't be any job for regular Americans. He also said he would be forced to hire illegals soon if our government does not correct the problem; he has a family to feed and put through college, 4 kids.

I buy very large construction projects for clients - min 10 million. Even at the top end it is having an impact on the costs we are predicting
