Before you start digging, and to save you lots of time and possibly your life, I would suggest you obtain a book at your public library, on the earth and what makes up the earth. You will find that the earth is made up of several different layers of items. Items that are either to hard or to Hot to get through. Save yourself time and energy, and book the first flight to Australia. That is if you want to see it in your lifetime.

There would be several layers of rock too hard to dig thruogh and you would die from the heat when you got too close to earth's core. Plus you would lose interest about 2 weeks and 15 feet in.

Everybody got all excited and I posted it on Yahoo Answers and come to find out it was an imitation, but I still sold it for $100.00

No. You'd burn up in the earth's mantle (26 miles down, hot enough to melt iron), and it would even be too hot about 3 miles down.
