Scene is a stereotype subculture amongst teenagers. It is characterized by some of the same qualities as the emo stereotype subculture, although is lacks much of the depression-based element. Scene is popularly referred to as "emo without the cutting" because it is so similar. Scene kids are also sometimes known as scenesters.

According to Wikipedia-Scene Girl Characteristics :
Pale
Wear flats (usually with skirt & leggings)
Straight leg jeans
Patterned shirts
Striped shirts
Big sunglasses
Zebra strips
Dyed hair (usually with multicolored streaks and hair extensions)
Skinny
Lots of crazy makeup
Thermals with cute prints in the winter
Skinny tank tops are acceptable for layering purposes or just to sport bra straps.
