we had an ice age right now? Less than 20,000 years ago, half of the U.S. was covered with ice and Canada was one big ice cube. 20,000 years is less than a second when compared with the age of the earth.

An ice age would cause billions of people to starve to death.

The grand canyon was formed from melting water from thawing ice ages. Over 20 million years, melting water carved out huge sections of land in Arizona.

NASA has said that great temperature changes are normal. Just 10,000 years ago, the earth warmed up extremely in less than 20 years. There were not many people around at that time.
NASA:
"Rapid changes between ice ages and warm periods (called interglacials) are recorded in the Greenland ice sheet. Occurring over ONE OR TWO DECADES, the warming of the Earth at the end of the last ice age "

This global warming has probably been speeded up some by man, but I believe it's the normal earth changes leading up to the next ice age. I'm sure it won't happen during our lifetime, but I believe it's coming. I live in England. We'll be an ice cube too.

Good posting!
Unfortunately, by the time Americans see what the Earth's climate is really doing, Gore will be on to his next pet project.
If he becomes any more full of sh.it, his bloated body will eventually explode.

I wouldn't even pay the sligtest regard to what NASA has to say. The shuttles and space objects out into space they sent are polluting space itself! Has anyone ever wondered what happens to the bits and pieces of those objects that splinter in space and never are brought back to their earthy labs?

Al-gone green-Gore is doing it for attention. Having LOST, what should have been a shoe in election, he is pathetically preforming his dog and pony show for Hollywood.
