The Twins are getting a new stadium so they wont be retracted. I wish the devil rays were retracted because they dont have any history and with the Yankees and Redsox spending 150 million dollars a year a doubt the devil rays will ever get further then third place. Also they have a terrible stadium which draws very few people.

The pool of talent in baseball is thin compared to years ago, but we probably wont see any retracting manly because of money. Less teams will mean less profit, and like they say baseball is a business.

Not during the length of the the CBA that went into effect at the end of 2006. Player's Union ensured there will be no contraction during the lenght of the current agreement.

Won't happen. They might get moved to another city, but I doubt you would see MLB "retract" teams. There are too many places that still want a team.

The Royals, Devil Rays, Brewers, Pirates, Nationals, and Orioles all need to be retracted because they stink it up every year. The compeition would be much greater if these losing teams did not exist.
