I have two teenage boys ..and the best gift I can give them ,in their point of view, is cash or a gift card at one of the stores they like to shop.....I will say it makes things easy..they get what they want and I don't have to worry they won't like their gift.....

Definitely a good book. Might be a classical novel from a classical author ( Shakespeare,Seldom, Verne, Alcott, King, Dumas, Cervantes, ) or a book about teenagers changes, advices and problems.
Also try in Yahoo Answers "whats the best book you´ve ever read" and youll find many suggestions.
