Gay is an attraction to the same sex. What you listed is stereotypical of gays, but no true indicator. There are gays into motorcycles, hardcore punk rock (guilty!), and football & beer. This just means you like classic music, broadway musicals, and home decorating.

Not necessarily. Only you can tell us if you're gay or not. Otherwise, all it means is that you like classical music, Broadway musicals and home decorating.

Heh. I've often asked myself the same question. I love theatre, musicals, plays, symphonies, art, home decorating, classical music, philosophy discussions, coffeeshops, wine, and fine dining. I also am very compassionate, mellow, and have a very soft spoken voice. Does that make ME gay? I don't think so. But, that's what everyone is going to ASSUME based on preconceived stereotypes. Hate to break it to you, but that's the truth, and sometimes the truth hurts. The world is full of mindless idiots who would rather follow the crowd and do the "monkey see, monkey do" thing than take the time to get to know someone for who and what they REALLY are, not just a stereotype.
If you enjoy the things you enjoy, your hobbies and interests do not determine your sexual orientation. Just like not all LESBIANS are into monster trucks, drinking beer, wearing mullets and flannel, and riding motorcycles. Feminine lesbians exist too. Just like "macho" gay men who like sports, drinking beer, watching porn, playing pool, and riding motorcycles exist TOO. (trust me, I've seen them for myself)
So, stop letting others dictate how you feel about yourself, or cause you to question your own identity. You are who you are, and you should be proud of that, and that you AREN'T a stereotype, and that you are unique. So what if people's assumptions are wrong? We need people like you in the world to help show people how stupid stereotyping is.

no, you're only gay if you are physically attracted to members of the same sex. I like classical music and broadway musicals and I've been married for six years. Have a nice day.

Classical Music... Not neccesarily.
Broadway Musicals... HEY, IT'S NOT EFFEMINATE, YOU JUST APPRECIATE GOOD ART! Now, repeat this to yourself: "I'm not less of a man just because I like Broadway Musicals. I'm not less of a man because I lke Broadway Musicals. I'm not less of a man..."
Home Decorating... Really depends on how much you like it and what part of it you like the most. You could just be metro.

being gay means you like men, and would like to have a sexual in counter with a man.
as you have not added in you question said attraction I will presume it dose not exist.
relax watch Frasier not everything is about being "gay" no matter what a friend has told you.

some generations in the past, the question might want to were, what do you imagine of operetta? The opera singers of the day weren't too proud to say that they didn't wish to do the small stuff then. some operettas have fairly complicated music to them, and the human beings who've studied their concept and compostion ( as well as their making a music) are extremely joyful to hearken to "extreme artwork" in a "decrease type". properly, musicals are the subsequent degree down on the nutrition chain, are not they? sure, you've the Rodgers/Hammestein with sturdy exciting music to them, and also you've the noticeably psychological and important works of Bernstein and Sondheim , as well as Gian-Carlo Menotti, whose works premiered on Broadway, because they were considered musicals and by no potential short operas. yet, i'm sorry, fairly some the present stuff has no deeper msuic to it than a I-IV-V-I progression to it, and perhaps some snazzy rhythms. The theater I artwork in had a spate of musicals that they positioned on for a 5 year era. each summer, we were given to do a musical, 70 shows in 6 weeks. the celebs were proficient, no doubt, besides the undeniable fact that the human beings forged in minor roles were customarily the classic situation "intechangeable parts, Ford form" dancer-singer varieties. they moved properly, they kept in song, and had no extra intensity to them than a chunk of , paper towel. We contained in the opera chorus, who sang chorus to this finished mission, were very satisfied at the same time as the mission got here to an end. The choreographers were mad at us reason we did not dance, the minor singers because lets sing, and administration because we did not take it heavily adequate. Nough stated? go-overs: I once had the excellent sturdy fortune to hearken to Birgit Nilsson making a music a recital, contained in the Ambassador Auditorium in l. a.. She began the evening with Scandinavian songs, bleak, spare, downright gloomy. She wore a gloomy gray dress. imagine the imaginitive programming for the second one 1/2. similar dress, purely in flamingo pink, and such stuff as " i might want to have danced all evening" and " O Mio Babbino Caro", which,at the same time as nevertheless opera, comes effective close, for her, to being a musical. After such exciting, she kindly took requests from the target market, and wound up the evening with a huge To-Yo-ta-HO!

Your cultural interests and decorating skills do not make you gay or homosexual. Homosexuality is being attracted to the same sex, in a sexual, intimate, emotional, loving manner. Oh my goodness. God bless****
