I don't have an algae problem I just wanted to get a bottom dwelling fish.

A clown Pleco. They are really cool and don't need a lot of attention. The only downfall is that they're nocturnal and you don't see them much.

Most "algae eaters" either do not eat much algae, or as they grow they stop eating algae altogether. So the best algae control is to do it yourself.


There really are not any brackishwater algae eaters anyway. Nerite snails are about the only thing that will do a halfway decent job.
