We are in Aberdeen, and yes we saw it. We were at a birthday party, so at 10:40 everyone at the house (about 30 people, all inebriated) went outside and started doing a lunar conga - congaing while staring at the obscured moon and shouting "We're doing the lunar conga!" at high levels of volume. Was fun :)

I was stunned by the moon's appearance before the eclipse started. At 6pm yesterday it was HUGE on the horizon and bright orange.
We had a fantastic view of the eclipse itself - 100% totality here in Hertfordshire, with no clouds.

In the North of England at the time, 10pm to 1am. Brill. Especially the earlier views of tan and orange glow. It eclipsed all previous ones I've seen. Gorgeous bright full moon afterwards. For me it easily outshone Venus for attractiveness, for once. I must be going through a phase, it's called being moonstruck..

In Barrow in Furness it was crystal clear and a beautiful shade of deep rose.
The sky was cloudless for all the eclipse.
