if you think about it the suns really weights zip, zero, nada..Why?? because weight is the amount of force being pulled by the mass of one object unto another. so if there nothing pulling on the sun then it has no weight. the universe does not have a gravity to pull the sun any direction. like we humans when we are on outer space we are weightless because the earth is no longer pulling us down. so if we are weightless in outer space then that means the sun is too. lets say you had a suit that could withstand the temperature of the sun. if you have an object to put force against with your feet my theory is that you might just be able to move the sun with your hands. (And of course if there were no other working forces such as the planets gravity on the sun)

Like all bodies in unrestricted free fall orbits the sun weighs nothing. The earth weighs nothing, for the same reason.

So, in that respect the two weigh the same.

It would be better to ask, "What is the mass, rather than the weight, of the sun? The mass of the planet Earth is: approximately 6,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (6E+24) kilograms. The sun's mass is about 333,000 times Earth's mass.
