u must be a begginner cuz that stuff should stop happening if you've done dance for @ least 5-6 yrs. time, ice, tylenol, vitamins.

Just because a fracture heals in 8 weeks, do not think that it is back to normal...the bone will continue to go through change over the next year...at which any point can still cause pain with certain movements. Furthermore, due to the poor blood supply to liagements and tendons, sprains can also result in a lengthy healing process (if they heal at all). The fact that you are a dancer and putting abnormal amounts of stress on your feet, you are probably more likely to find something that is uncomfortable...you are much more "in tune" to your feet.
That being said, follow up with a podiatrist who is also board certified in orthopedic surgery. He/she may recommend further tests or treatment, such as an MRI or PT, respectively.

If your ankle hurts you need to stop dancing before you do something to damage it permanently. Trust me, I'm a dancer too, and went back too soon after spraining an ankle, and now I can't dance very much anymore without being in pain. But you really need to go see a doctor now, if you want to get back to dancing sooner. You made need to go through physical therapy, and if it's really damaged some surgery.

I would go see a specialist. It sounds like your not giving yourself enough time to heal from each injury. Those kinds of injuries take time. Take it slow and keep your ankle wrapped when it starts to hurt.

1st, you might need to stretch out before you dance. See your local gym personal fitness trainer to get some details. Warm ups range from stretches, pushups, to finger waves.

Your doctor should have referred you for physical therapy. If they didn't, call their office and have them refer you. If you were, then make another appointment with PT and tell them you are still having problems.
